General compliance & pricing

• A strict uniform discount of 10% is allowed on the printed price of all books and reading materials; higher promotional undercutting is prohibited under fair guidelines.
• No books, digital mediums or materials forbidden by law, including items violating the Copyright Act, may be displayed or sold. The exhibitor assumes sole liability and indemnifies the organiser.

Sound, advertising & passages

• Audio/video at stalls must not cause annoyance to neighbouring exhibitors or visitors; the organiser may cut power to offending stalls.
• No encroachment into walking passages. Displays, racks, counters and stock must remain within the allotted space.
• Distribution of loose leaflets, pamphlets or flyers inside the fair premises is banned; violation carries a ₹5,000 penalty.
• Unauthorised banners, hoardings, standees, stickers or digital display projections outside the designated space are banned; violation carries a ₹10,000 per-day penalty.

Space allotment, withdrawal & cancellation

• Bookings are first-come, first-served and are verified only upon clear realisation of payment. Subletting, sharing or parting with allotted space to third parties is prohibited.
• Once confirmed, a stall booking cannot be altered, resized or cancelled; no refund or rental adjustment will be issued against current or future exhibitions.
• Space may be treated as forfeited if the exhibitor does not take physical possession within 24 hours of the fair’s official inauguration; the organiser may re-allot the unoccupied space.

Technical amenities, logistics & schedules

• Standard 100 sq ft stall: fully carpeted stall, wooden platform, 6 bookshelves, 2 chairs, 1 table, 2 tubelights and 1 power point for computer connectivity (maximum permissible load threshold: 200 Watts).
• Extra furniture/custom electrical fittings must be sourced through the official event contractors on separate rental. Additional electricity beyond the baseline is billed extra.
• Official possession of stalls: Thursday, 3 December 2026. Security entry begins at 10:30 AM daily; halls must be vacated completely by 9:00 PM. Fair timings: 11:00 AM–9:00 PM.

Security & legal jurisdiction

• General perimeter security is arranged round-the-clock, but the organiser is not liable for structural damage, fire, rain damage, theft or burglary of assets. Exhibitors are advised to secure independent transit and local fire/burglary insurance.
• The competent authority of the organiser may relax, update or modify terms; its decision is final and binding.
• Any dispute, legal claim or operational grievance arising from participation is subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the Patna Courts.
