The CRD Literary-Cultural Festival cum Patna Book 📚 Fair (CRD’s LCF cum PBF) 2026 is shaping up to be an amazing event ! The festival has added the historic Entry Gate No. 10 of Gandhi Maidan — and is commemorating Usha Kiran Khan, a past pioneering writer and activist, and a veteran filmmaker.

The CRD Literary-Cultural Festival cum Patna Book Fair (CRD: LCF cum PBF) 2026 is going to be a blast ! It’s happening from December 3 to 14, and they’re celebrating literature, music, and art in a big way. The festival is inaugurating the season of annual literary gatherings in Patna and has even added new Entry Gate 10 of Gandhi Maidan actually since 2023 on regular basis.

The year’s edition is special, with sessions on pioneering past writer and activist Usha Kiran Khan, who’s known for her fearless honesty and challenging power structures through her activities.’Usi Dehari Par’ is a Hindi storybook written by Usha Kiran Khan, renowned Indian author. The book is a collection of emotional and thought-provoking stories that explore social themes and relationships. With a rating of 3.6 out of 5 stars, it’s popular choice among readers.

Patna Book Fair is also commemorating a veteran filmmaker, exploring his emotional honesty and cinematic genius.

At a time when large-scale literary platforms were rare in the region, he envisioned and established the Patna Book Fair—truly ahead of his time. With a Master’s degree in Sociology and a degree in Law, he combines intellectual depth with real-world insight. He is the Founding Editor of PLJR (Patna Law Journal Reports) and Chairman of Novelty & Company, a leading publishing house in Patna. Through his blogs, he shares reflections on the vision and journey of the Patna Book Fair. At 81, he remains strikingly energetic—guided by discipline, a simple yogi-like diet, and a level of fitness that could easily rival those much younger.
